Moss Vale Road through Kangaroo Valley village will be temporarily closed to vehicular traffic in both directions, from 9.00 am until midday on Friday 25 April 2025 for the annual ANZAC Day march and service.

NSW Roads & Maritime Services (Transport for NSW) signs will be placed at Hampden Bridge, at Fitzroy Falls, Barfield Road at Cambewarra and at Berry to advise road users of this temporary road closure.

ANZAC Day parade participants are requested to meet at the Village Green Nursery Car Park from 9.30 am, for a parade briefing at 9.45 am. The parade will depart at 10.00 am sharp with a short march to the cenotaph.

Limited seating will be provided in front of the cenotaph for those who require it – you may also bring your own seat. The commemorative service should be completed by 11.30 am, with the road to be opened as soon as possible thereafter.

Anyone who wishes to lay a wreath should email gayle.harvey@optusnet.com.au by Friday 11 April 2025.

Wreaths are to be labelled with details of the individual or organisation and who the wreath is commemorating. Wreaths are to be checked in at the cenotaph on ANZAC Day between 8.30 am and 9.30 am. Your names will be called during the wreath laying ceremony.

A Lions Club sausage sizzle will be held after the ceremony – cash donations will be gratefully accepted.

In the national spirit of respecting our fallen heroes and preserving the sanctity of ANZAC Day, all businesses, cafes and restaurants in the Village are kindly requested to cease serving food and drinks and undertaking noisy activities (such as clearing al fresco tables), for the duration of our ANZAC Day march and Commemorative Service, from 9.55 am until 11.15 am.

If you have any ANZAC Day enquiries, please contact:

Lest we forget.
