Jackie Menzies OAM served as Head of Asian Art at the Art Gallery of New South Wales from 1980 to 2012, where she was instrumental in Asian art acquisitions, exhibitions and the expansion of the Asian gallery in 1990 and 2003. An esteemed lecturer, Jackie has led numerous art-focused tours to Japan, China, India, Thailand and Korea. Recognised with a Centenary Medal and a Medal of the Order of Australia, she has significantly contributed to promoting Asian art in Australia.
