ARTS NATIONAL Shoalhaven

The 30th of May was a very special night, as it was a full house at the Berry Uniting Hall. Before the lecture, Alison Havadjia, a regular entrant at the Shoalhaven Eisteddfod, entertained the attendees with her enjoyable renditions of two poems. Andy McConnell, the glass expert of the Antiques Roadshow fame, then enthralled us all with his hilariously unconventional style of delivery. We were treated to a most engaging and entertaining story of the genius of Rene Lalique as a jeweller and a glass maker. We are looking forward to another fantastic evening in August. Tickets can be purchased at the door, including a glass of sparkling wine with fellow art lovers after the lecture.
