Dearest readers!

Dearest Readers,

It brings me great joy to reconnect with you in returning to the Voice after my maternity leave. I can honestly say that, as challenging as it is some days, I very much missed it. During my time away, we had the immense joy of welcoming a beautiful baby boy, Malakai, into the world. During this profoundly surreal time, I am incredibly grateful for the unwavering support of my husband, Indy, and our family (along with Mr Mali’s generally cruisey and cooperative nature) which has allowed me to return to work so soon.

I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Delyse for stepping up and filling in for me during my absence. Her dedication and hard work ensured that our little paper continued to thrive, and I am truly thankful for her invaluable contributions.

In other news, I’m excited to introduce you to our new resident journalist, Selena. She’ll be joining our team and providing articles on new and exciting topics for the Voice each month, starting with a captivating piece on the happy hormones associated with gardening. With Selena on board and more exciting changes to be unveiled, stay tuned for an exciting year ahead!

And lastly, please don’t hesitate to say hi if you happen to see Mr. Mali and me around town, along with my hard-working scaly co-author, Juan. Your support means the world to us; we’re always excited for the opportunity to connect with our readers and community and share our journey with you.

Happy reading, and here’s to an exciting year ahead with the Voice!

Cheers,

Paige Nutter
