The Brush-tailed Rock-wallabies are leaping towards a brighter future

The Friends of the Brush-tailed Rock-wallaby (BTRW) were thrilled to have a stall at the Kangaroo Valley Show on 14 and 15 February. It was a fantastic opportunity to spread awareness about the plight of the endangered Brush-tailed Rock-wallaby and to raise crucial funds for their protection.

Our stall was buzzing with visitors eager to learn about these unique and shy rock-dwellers that call Kangaroo Valley home. We had educational materials, fabulous merchandise and plenty of conversations about how the community can help. If you missed out, be sure to check out our online shop or make a donation at rockwallaby.org.au to support conservation efforts.

Even more exciting, our local colony has had some positive momentum, with new joeys spotted exploring their rocky habitat! This is a promising sign that our conservation efforts are making a real difference. But the work doesn’t stop here – we need your help to keep this momentum going!
