Music in the Valley: 20 September
On the third weekend of September, Music in the Valley brings Garden of Earthly Delights featuring the Luminescence Chamber Singers.
The uninhibited world of Hieronymus Bosch in his 500-year triptych sets the scene, a paradise of indulgence or a stark warning of moral decay. Luminescence will ignite our imagination in this surreal feast of the senses, an aural tapestry as pleasurable and perilous as Bosch’s vision. Music is drawn from the vaults of the Renaissance and daring modern transgressions, a vocal cornucopia of surprise and cheeky delight. Music by Hildegard von Bingen, Josquin des Prez, Philippe Verdelot and Gavin Bryars, as well as Nicole Murphy and Archie Tulk.
Please mark your calendars for Saturday 20 September, 5.00 pm, Kangaroo Valley Hall.
More information will be available nearer the time.
