Saturday the 19th of October was our Stableford competition, a small number of members enjoying the improving course. Allan Harvey winning with 35 points, followed by Ron Bower beaten on a count back with 35 points and Gordon Thomson with 34 points. Saturday the 26th of October was our Stroke and Medal competition, with our Club championship rounds over the 26th & 27th as well. With a good number of members competing, Congratulations to Allan Harvey winning the Monthly Medal round with a score of 72 followed by Dave Hitchick with 73 followed by gordon Thomson with 74, Day two of the Grade Championships, was also a Stroke round competition, congratulations to Ian Thomas winning with a score of 72, followed by Robbie McDonnell with 72 also and Natalie McDonnell with 73. The Club Grade Champions for 23-24 were for “A” grade was Dave Hitchick with a combined score for the two days was 158, for “B” grade was Robbie McDonnell with a combined score for the two days was 180, for “C” grade was Gordon Thomson with a combined score for the two days was 192, for “Ladies” grade was Natalie McDonnell with a combined score for the two days was 191, congratulations to you all. Saturday the 2nd of November was our Stableford competition a small number of members enjoying the sunshine and course conditions. Congratulations to Charles Tarbey winning with 35 points, followed by Dave Purll with 34 points and Gordon Thomson with 33 points. Our Par competition was played on the 19th of November with David Castles visitor from St Michaels GC winning with +3, Bill Delforce visitor from Yeppoon GC with +2 and Peter Dumbrell with +2. Saturday the 11th was a Stableford event and our “John Rose Memorial Trophy” competition, with a great number of members competing, congratulations to Stephen Atkins winning the Stableford round & the John Rose Trophy with 37 points, followed by Suzanne Greer with 36 points and Robbie McDonnell with 36 points. After the event, all members and guests had a lovely lunch at the new resort Italian Restaurant on the Deck with the presentation of the John Rose Trophy and Grade Championship winners.
