Saturday the 23rd of November was our Stableford competition. Congratulations to Suzanne Greer winning with a great 39 points, followed by Michael Oliver with 37 points and Charles Tarbey with 36 points. Our Medal and Stroke was played on the 30th of November with Charles Tarbey winning the day with a score of 81, followed by Ronnie Touma on 72 and Gordon Thomson with a 77. The following weekend, 7th of December we had our Stableford competition Congratulations to Charles Tarbey winning with 37 points, followed by George Tarbey with 36 points and Ronnie Touma also with 36 points. A small field hit the course that weekend, of members and visitors playing in the comp. With the sun shining on Saturday 14th of December, our Par round was closely contested for the winner, Stephen Atkins with +2, beating Patrick Guthrie on a count back and followed by Gordon Thomson with +1. Our next Stableford competition was played on one of the hottest days in the valley, on the 21st of December, a small group ventured out, congratulations to Suzanne Greer with a great 39 points, followed by George Tarbey with 38 points and followed by Steven Barden visitor from Moss Vale Golf Club with 35 points. Merry Christmas everyone, hope Santa was good to you all. Our next Stableford competition on the 28th of December, Jeremy McFadden visitor from The SCA Golf Club winning with amazing 49 points, followed by Harrison Stever visitor from Richmond Golf Club with 41 points and Ronnie Touma with 38 points. Happy New Year everyone, our first round for 2025 and the introduction of a new local rule on the 8th and 14th holes for Females over 70 years young and males over 75 years young to be able to hit from the yellow markers with a one stroke penalty was introduced to increase safety and to navigate over the water for these members. Our next competition was Stableford round, the 4th of January 2025, congratulations to Gordon Thomson winning with 37 points, beating Stephen Atkins on a count back and George Tarbey with 36 points. The 11h of January 2025 was a Par competition, with visitor winning the day with +1, Brad Robertson from Terry Hills golf & Country club, beating Ian Thomas and Allan Harvey on a count back both with + 1 also.18th of January was our Stableford competition, which was a wash out, so no competition was held. Our course has suffered with all the hot days we have had , but this rain should help the course to bounce back in no time at all. Happy golfing everyone and until next time ………
