In the July school holidays, KVFC again held a fantastic Soccer Clinic that brought together our young soccer enthusiasts for a day of fun, learning, and teamwork. The event, which took place at the club’s home grounds, was a great success, with over 30 children aged 5 to 12 participating.
Led by experienced A-grade coaches, once again George Fallah and Ron Bower, and supported by our very own coaches Dean, Ian, Georgia and Casey, the clinic focused on teaching the fundamentals of soccer in an engaging and supportive environment. The kids had the opportunity to learn essential skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork through a series of drills and games tailored to their age and ability levels. The highlight was a World Cup-style tournament to finish the clinic off. Some pretty impressive goals and plays were made!
Even some parents and spectators enjoyed a lively atmosphere as the children demonstrated their newfound skills and confidence on the field. The day was filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of action, making it a memorable experience for everyone involved. The sausage sizzle lunch, fruit breaks and drinks provided by the club were also a big hit with the kids.
The Kangaroo Valley Football Club is committed to fostering a love for soccer and promoting an active lifestyle among the youth in our local KV community. The success of this clinic once again highlights the club’s dedication to nurturing young talent and providing opportunities for children to develop their skills and enjoy the game of soccer right here in KV.
A special thank you goes out to all the parents and kids who supported this event. The club looks forward to hosting more clinics and events in the future, continuing to inspire the next generation of soccer stars in Kangaroo Valley. Stay tuned for details!!
