As you can see from the photographs it’s been a long time between visits since the girls first enjoyed the museum when they were 7 and 5 years old. The schoolroom exhibit was particularly fun and the rules for teachers caused some amusement, as one of our girls is now a primary school teacher herself. There were lots of visitors during the day enjoying the experience too.
I would say that the present Historical Society is doing a great job in maintaining and adding to the exhibits and the grounds.
The park is a testament to all those volunteers who have done great work over many years.
If you haven’t yet had the opportunity to visit, please make time to support the museum by taking all your friends for an enjoyable day out and don’t forget a picnic to enjoy in the grounds.
