For just $5 per ticket, you’ll be in the running to win some fantastic prizes while helping to protect the endangered Brush-tailed Rock-wallabies including our local Kangaroo Valley colonies. Fewer than 50 remain in the wild in our region and every ticket sold supports habitat restoration, pest control, education and research to help them survive.
With the support of the Friends of the Brush-tailed Rock-wallaby and the National Parks and Wildlife Service, new joeys are being born into the colonies and numbers are slowly starting to increase. It’s a hopeful sign but there’s still a long way to go. By harnessing this momentum and continuing our conservation efforts we can give these incredible rock-wallabies a real chance at survival. The funds raised through this raffle will help us do just that.
The raffle will be drawn on 13 April at the Kangaroo Valley Farmers Markets. We’ll be there selling last-minute tickets but don’t wait until then – get yours today and you could win:
