Everyone at the preschool has been thrilled to welcome back our Educator, Fiona Nelson, after she has had to take extended sick leave. The children created beautiful paintings on a canvas as a “Welcome Back” surprise for her.

Fourteen of our 2024 preschoolers will be heading to “Big School” next year. They have been busy developing all the skills they will need for this next level of their education. The children have also had orientation visits to the school where they have visited the classroom and playground as well as meeting their “Buddies” who will assist them as they settle in.

The preschool will still be busy next year with 28 children already enrolled for 2025!

The end of the year is approaching and we are preparing for celebrations! Lionel Robinson will bring his friend Spotty Bear to KV to tell a Christmas tale. This will be followed by a party picnic under the maple tree.

The big Children will have a presentation ceremony to mark the occasion of their graduation from preschool.

The Preschool would like to thank Brad Hawthorne and Tim Amor for helping to re-pot our huge succulents – they were so heavy! Thanks especially to Brad who is always on hand to help keep our playground looking beautiful. We appreciate all your work.

The preschool will have some changes early next year as I retire from the position of Teacher / Director. We will keep the community informed as the recruitment process progresses.
