Our Minister, Rev Andrew Heron, is away. We welcome Rev Ian Rienits as our locum. He will be with us on Tuesdays and Sundays.
This year Kate Hole has taken up the position of Children’s Minister. She and Bron Johnson are running the Thursday afternoon after school program. I was present last Thursday and was pleased to see so many happy and joyful children enjoying the after school event.
There is afternoon tea, outdoor free play and games. There is singing and a message about Jesus and a craft activity. Something for everyone. It is amazing how Kate fits in so much in such a short time. The children were so well behaved and engaged. What a pleasure it was to help out. The weather even obliged by the rain staying away.
