Recently three of our members achieved the membership of 20 years of service to the community.  These were Marjorie Wilkie, John Kennedy, and Jason Horton.  Marjorie is seen here receiving her Monarch badge from president, David Loncasty.  Helen Mairinger was also acknowledged for her 25 years of service.

Tradition continues with Anzac Day and the club would like to thank those that support our BBQ on the day.  It is a sombre moment in the valley calendar but one where the community comes together to remember.  Great work by Tony and the team behind the service, who continue to improve each year with no sign of resting on their laurels.

A big call out to Kirsty Hambrook for her work with the valley youth.  Kirsty has driven the group to become engaged in public speaking, horse riding, basketball, catering and creative pursuits.  Many of the providers of these activities are local businesses within the valley.  Well done, Kirsty!

Each Wednesday a dedicated group of table tennis players gathers at Osborne Park for a diversion from their weeks.  This is held between 3pm and 5pm; all skill levels are catered for and the cost is only $5 per player.  Come down and join our regulars, seen here posing for a picture. Bis, Joy, Oscar, David, Ron and Jeanette (not pictured).  You can see Ron in action here, getting into the swing with him jumping, while Oscar eagerly watches on.
