For the KVCCB:

I am writing to state our strong opposition to your suggested reduction to the present speed limits on Kangaroo Valley Roads. I accepted the reduction from 100 km/hr to 80 but any other changes/reductions is a very poor thought.

Not only will it frustrate most of us living in the Valley but all those tourists, truck drivers, tradies etc. who drive through from the highlands to the coast. They are not even given the opportunity to express their thoughts.

I spent over ½ hour, last night, trying to click onto your survey with no success hence my Email. I was speaking to several other people today who have also been unable to access your survey.

If we and others I have spoken to, have had so much trouble then there must be many others who have also been unsuccessful, so it would be totally wrong to try and base a decision to reduce the speed limits on the results you get.

[Al replied with further information on accessing the link but the survey is now closed.]

Anyway, for future reference we provided the following guidance…

[…]

The survey has now closed (Fri 5pm) but should this happen again, I would suggest trying the following:

  1. Clear your browser cache and/or
  2. Try a different browser (eg. Safari, Edge, Chrome) and/or
  3. Try a different device (eg. your phone or another laptop)

Hope that helps in some way. The results of the survey are published in this issue of the Voice.
