In this warm spring rain,
Little leaves are sprouting
From the eggplant seed.

The warmer weather has brought new volunteers to the Community Garden.  These new recruits are needed as the flush of spring growth occurs.  Today’s harvest, to be shared among the volunteers, includes lettuce, carrots, radish, beetroot, blueberries, strawberries and shallots.  To the tune of cicadas we water, weed, prune and harvest.

Come and join the merry group of volunteers.
