Thanks for the years of service

As reported last month, we inducted Intan Kallus to your local club at the meeting held on 30 May 2025. Intan can be seen in the photo here with club president David Loncasty.

Also, at the meeting the president presented Chevrons to members for their longevity. These included Rob Griffiths and Lorraine Mairinger (pictured), as well as other deserving members for their service. Rob was a charter member and has 35 years of service and Lorraine joined when ladies were welcomed and she has 25 years of service.

Medical Centre renovations

You will notice frantic activity at the medical centre as renovations are taking place. Gayle Harvey and Karen Barker have been active with the garden and Tracey has been busy organising painting of the consult rooms. Well done to all those involved.

Fun on the table

Table Tennis continues each Wednesday from 3.00pm to 5.00pm at the KV Hall. The club has secured bookings through until June 2026, so we have long-term security in the venue. You do not have to be a professional player as all levels are catered for. It is more a bit of fun than serious competition.

As your local club we are always looking for new activities that we can be involved in to help support our community. Please reach out to one of us with your ideas.
