Spring into the 17th Kangaroo Valley Folk Festival
Ever since I can remember, my mum has loved Halloween.
In 2020 my overseas trip was cancelled due to Covid, so I booked an APT “Wilderness Adventure” tour of The Kimberley instead. Then the W.A. border was closed, so that was cancelled too. I finally did it in August this year.

Monday 28/10/2024 at 7pm at the Kangaroo Valley Hall
Vivienne Lawes delivered an exceptional series of lectures on the 29th and 30th of August, taking us on a fascinating journey through the impact of Eastern imports like tea, porcelain, textiles, and rugs on 18th-century British culture. Her deep knowledge and infectious enthusiasm made the experience unforgettable. The Special Interest Day on The Aesthetic Movement was equally enlightening, with William Morris’ motto, “Nothing useless can be truly beautiful,” wonderfully emphasised. A truly outstanding and enriching experience! We are looking forward to another fantastic evening in November looking at the famous Picasso’s Guernica. Tickets can be purchased at the door and includes a glass of sparkling wine with fellow art lovers after the lecture.
